The Pacific Islands Tax Administrators Association (PITAA) is a non- profit organization for Tax Administrators in the Pacific region. Established in 2004, PITAA has a membership of 16 Pacific Island Countries (PICs) with an objective to provide a network of support and promote programs and projects to enhance tax administration advancements in the region.

The PITAA Secretariat is established in Suva, Fiji and manages the overall operations, coordinates the PITAA Heads Meetings, ensures implementation and execution of Executive Committee decisions and the Strategic Plan facilitating for capacity building needs for members.

PITAA is seeking to engage in a 3-year contract for audit services of its Financials with year ending 31st December. The 3-year contract relates to 2021, 2022 and 2023 Financial periods. The Financials will be prepared by the PITAA Secretariat Finance Officer under IFRS for SMEs.

The auditor/ audit firm will deliver the following accountabilities:

  • Provide Independent opinion & management letter;
  • Recommend improvements including but not limited to internal controls;
  • Provide adjustment entries, if any; and
  • Audit Financials.

The preferred contender must possess the following qualities:

  • Experience with audit of regional office and or SME’s;
  • Good understanding of accrual basis reporting.
  • Well versed with MYOB software.
  • Ability to provide final audit report by 31st March each year; and
  • Maintain confidentiality.

PITAA’s working language is English.
