The Pacific Islands Tax Administrators Association (PITAA) proudly supported the participation of Mr. Petero Maivucevuce, PITAA Training Coordinator and Office Administrator, at the 2025 Fiji Human Resources Institute (FHRI) Convention held from 11-12th April at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa in Denarau.
This year’s convention, held under the theme “Empowering Performance, Empowering Productivity,” brought together HR professionals, industry leaders, and experts from across Fiji and the Pacific to explore evolving human resources trends and strategies that drive workplace transformation.
Representing PITAA at this annual event, Mr. Maivucevuce joined in the rich learning experience, which featured renowned keynote speakers and engaging panel discussions.
“Attending the Fiji HR Convention provided me access to the latest trends, best practices, and innovative strategies in human resources. The event featured renowned speakers, workshops, and panel discussions that greatly enhanced my knowledge and professional outlook,” he explained.
In addition to professional development, the convention offered networking opportunities, enabling participants to connect with peers from various industries and regions.
“Networking with professionals and industry leaders opened the door to meaningful conversations, idea sharing, and learning how different organizations tackle shared HR challenges,” he added.
