Revenue Statistics in Asia and the Pacific Webinar

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Pacific Island Tax Administrators Association (PITAA) and the Pacific Community (SPC) are pleased to invite you to a webinar on Revenue Statistics in Asia and the Pacific on 21 July 2022, at 1.00-3.00pm Manila time / 5.00-7.00pm Suva time / 7.00-9.00am Paris time. This event is sponsored by the Republic of Korea e-Asia and Knowledge Partnership Fund.

This webinar will be an opportunity for representatives of Asian and Pacific economies and international organisations to discuss trends, challenges and reforms to support domestic resource mobilisation in the region. It will feature:

Revenue Statistics in Asia and the Pacific produces high-quality, comparable revenue data for countries in Asia and in the Pacific, and is a crucial information base to support tax policy and tax reform in the region. In 2021, the initiative provided harmonised revenue data for 24 economies in Asia-Pacific, presented in an annual publication and an online database. Revenue Statistics in Asia and the Pacific is part of the Global Revenue Statistics Initiative, which covers more than 110 economies in the OECD, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean.

Revenue Statistics in Asia and the Pacific is jointly produced by the OECD Centre for Tax Policy and Administration and the OECD Development Centre with the co‑operation of ADB, PITAA, and SPC and financial support from the governments of Ireland, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
