Audit Methods & Procedures Regional Workshop

The objective of the workshop is to introduce participants to:
i. strategic principles for audit;
ii. examples of indirect audits;
iii. audit Procedures (Pre-Audit, Plan, Audit, Post Audit);
iv. gross revenue tax audits and other tax type audit issues;
v. share experience and information with other regional participants in audit work.
The workshop is a joint initiative with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Pacific Financial Technical Assistance Center (PFTAC) and the PITAA Secretariat. This has been organized to address the 2019 Training Need Analysis that was urgently requested by Northern Region members regarding Audit Procedures and Methods and assistance towards improving Gross Revenue Tax Audits.
