PITAA-PFTAC ISORA Coordinators Seminar

With the assistance of PFTAC, a short-term expert, Ms. Anna O’Keefe, has been engaged to run a seminar for your Coordinators so countries can get started and/or complete the ISORA survey by 15 December 2022. Anna will follow this up with ‘one on one’ help to any country Coordinator that needs assistance to ensure as many of the Pacific Island countries are represented in this international survey.

The survey is important so that the Pacific picture (in data) is visible.  For example, we used ISORA to get the gender data for the workshop we ran on gender in Nadi.  We also used it for the business case workshop – where we could show Pacific countries are lowly resourced in comparison to the Caribbean.  So, it is important that we have Pacific data captured; not just for one off comparison but also to track trends over time.

The virtual seminar is planned for Thursday 17 November 2022 from 11.00am – 2.00pm Fiji time. Attendees should be those responsible for completing the ISORA survey/ Country Coordinator.
