The meeting will be co-hosted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators (CATA), and Pacific Islands Tax Administrators Administration (PITAA). The meeting aims to gather feedback and input on the report mandated by the G20 on progress made by developing countries in strengthening capacity through their participation at the G20/OECD Inclusive Framework on BEPS, and to identify possible areas where domestic resource mobilisation efforts could be further supported. The meeting will also provide information and seek input on the progress towards consensus-based long-term solutions to the tax challenges of the digitalisation of the economy.
This is one of a series of regional consultations on these topics, hosted by regional tax organisations. This meeting is open to government representatives from ADB, CATA and PITAA members and any jurisdiction in Asia and the Pacific Region. Jurisdictions that are members of several international and/or regional tax organisations can participate in the event(s) they deem appropriate.
Delegates are invited to register as soon as possible for the regional consultation by sending an email indicating full names and email addresses of participants to CTP.BEPS@oecd.org. Registrations will be limited to five (5) representatives per country.
